WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A Leap Above dance studio's company dancers dazzled their way across stage Saturday morning for a dance showcase to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The event was held at Roland Grise Middle School at 10 a.m., and all proceeds will go towards granting a child's wish.
A Leap Above studio is home of 2010 Miss Greater Wilmington Brooklyne Williamson, who also organized the event.
"The [dancers] love it," said Williamson. "They love the idea of helping other children that are sick that have been in hospitals their entire lives so they've promoted this so much."
Williamson said she and her students raised $5,000 Saturday, which is enough to grant the wish of two children.
