A Supply man was arrested after undercover agents purchased controlled
substances during an investigation.
4 – Evacuations
announced in Oak Island, Caswell Beach
Oak Island and Caswell
Beach declared a state of emergency during Hurricane Irene and issued a mandatory
evacuation for non-residents.
3 – Carolina
Beach declares a state of emergency
The Town of Carolina
Beach officially declared a State of Emergency Friday, Aug. 26 and issued a
voluntary evacuation for residents in low-lying areas.

with the Wilmington Police Department arrested two young men on several drug
related charges.

charged with possession of multiple drugs
Augusta Bettee Hobbs, 17
of Supply, was arrested and charged in June for possession of several types of
drugs.
