WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)- You'll never think of holiday entertainment the same after you've seen a performance from The Kringles.
This is the fourth year the musically-gifted group is volunteering their time and talents around the area.
The Kringles perform for folks living at assisted living facilities and nursing homes around Wilmington during the holiday season.
Wednesday on Carolina in the Morning, three members of The Kringles came to the WECT studios to show viewers what they do.
Mike Waggett, one of the founding members of the group was part of the morning show on Wednesday. He also is a singer/songwriter and he performed an original Christmas song for the show.
Joining him were Dane Britt, well known in the area for his skills on the drums and dance floor, and Michael Flannagan, who rides a unicycle and is affectionately known as "Wrinkle Krinkle."
The Kringles say their favorite part of the gig is seeing the faces of the people light up when they hear the songs. They love getting the audience involved and encourage people to sing along and clap.
The Kringles have had a busy holiday season, but they are anticipating bigger and better shows for next year.
