SOUTHERN PINES, NC (WECT) - A teenager from Shallotte was charged last week with drug possession on the property of a private school, according to officers in Southern Pines, NC.
Lt. Rodney Hardy of the Southern Pines Police Department tells WECT.com that they got a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area of The O'Neal School after 8pm on December 13th.
After investigating, they arrested Devin Christopher Roberts, 18 from Shallotte. He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
Roberts faces charges of possessing marijuana with intent to sell and deliver, manufacturing, selling, delivering or possessing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, maintaining a drug vehicle, felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
