Paisley is nominated for two trophies at this year's Grammy Awards and has been acclaimed as one of the most-nominated and most-awarded new country artists.
The 29-year old was born in Glen Dale, WV, and received his first guitar from his grandfather at age eight with his first public performance at his church at age nine. He made his live radio debut at agew 12 on WWVA's "Jamboree USA" in Wheeling, WV, and by 13, Paisley was opening for acts like The Judds, George Jones, Steve Wariner, and Rick Scaggs.
Paisley's debut single from the same titled album was "Who Needs Pictures" in February of 1999. His latest single, the slice-of-life charmer "Little Moments" from "Mud on the TIres", jumped to #6 this week on the
and R&R country airplay charts.
