Carson Reide Rudisill

Ms. Rudisill is a graduate of New Hanover High and attended the University of Georgia for two years as a dance major where she was captain and choreographer of the UGA dance team. Rudisill transferred to New York University's prestigious musical theatre program where she began to work professionally and graduated from New School University with a concentration in psychology.

She has worked with an extensive list of distinguished names including Anne Reinking, Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Bebe Newirth, Peter Scolari, the Emmy award-winning AC Cuilla, Andy Blankenbeuhler, and Stanley Donan. Her show appearances from Caesars Palace in Atlantic City to Thalian and Opera House in Wilmington include; "Nights on Broadway", "Funny Girl", "A Chorus Line", "Anything Goes", "42nd Street", and many more.

Two years ago she made her New York cabaret debut, Sing Happy, in a 3 women show about the life of Liza Minelli, in which she personified "Young Liza", getting rave reviews for singing and dancing to show stoppers like "I Gotcha", "New York, New York", and "Bye Bye Blackbird". Also seen in ads for Dance Spirit magazine, Burlex, and Toys R' Us.

Daughter of past Azalea Festival president, Bill Rudisill, Carson is thrilled to be back in Wilmington.
