Brunswick County deputies say William Keel stole a Dodge Caravan and led police through Brunswick and New Hanover Counties.
The chase ended near Front and Meares Street in Wilmington where Keel got out of the car and fled. Wilmington police along with Brunswick County deputies searched for the man on foot.
Around 1 p.m., Wilmington police got a tip that Keel was in the Burger King on Third Street. Police then arrested Keel. He is in the New Hanover County jail under $40,000 bond.
Keel was wanted for numerous breaking and entering and identity theft charges.
