BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT)- More people are getting help from FEMA after Hurricane Irene.
Governor Bev Perdue announced Friday that people in Bladen, Columbus and Sampson counties can get FEMA assistance.
That now means all the counties in our viewing area live in one of the 38 declared counties that qualify for help.
So far, more than 30,000 storm survivors have asked for help from FEMA. Most are asking for help with housing while their homes get repaired or rebuilt.
