At a church in Leland tonight an annual event that is both a somber ceremony, and a support session for victims of violent crime.
A group called "Justice For Citizens" sponsors the gathering at the First Baptist Church.
It's a mixture of music and speeches intended to pay tribute to murder and domestic violence victims and people killed by drunk drivers.
People who have been touched by those crimes offer words of support for families dealing with grief.
Among the organizers is Birdie Frink.
