Driver dies after F-150 crosses center lane of traffic

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) — A 60-year-old woman has died after an F-150 pickup truck crossed the center lane of traffic and struck two vehicles that were headed east bound on Market Street Friday morning, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
The F-150 reportedly collided into the driver's side of an Econoline Van, then kept traveling and struck the driver side of a Mercury Sable causing it to spin in the 6900 block of Market St.
The truck continued head on into oncoming traffic and finally stopped by hitting a telephone pole.
The F-150 and Econoline drivers sustained minor injuries, according to Corporal Leslie P. Irving, but the driver of the Mercury Sable, Rebecca Hunstman, died.
The driver of the F-150 truck, Evelyn Redd Longinotti, 65, has been charged with misdemeanor death my motor vehicle, according to WPD's Lucy Crockett.
