ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WECT) – Authorities have arrested a woman from Whiteville who is accused of shooting another young woman outside of Club World Wide in Elizabethtown.

According to the Elizabethtown Police Department, Armeria Graham, 32, turned herself into authorities for shooting Jasmine McLaughlin, 20, outside of the club.  Graham had an argument with several women at the club on Swan Street early Saturday morning.

Police say McLaughlin was kicked out of the establishment because she was a minor.  A fight broke out in the parking lot shortly after.  According to police, that's when McLaughlin left in her car and was shot by Graham.

Monica Lewis said her daughter, Jasmine, had no business being at a night club.  Her daughter is now recovering and said a verbal fight started between some of her older friends and Graham inside the club.  Jasmine said she was waiting outside for her friends after having been kicked out.  She said the fight spilled into the parking lot so she got involved.

Jasmine said she's never met Graham, but said she won't forget her face anytime soon.  Her mother says she's warned her daughter about the bad company she keeps and hopes Jasmine has learned her lesson.
