Hot Father's Day with more thunderstorms

Father's Day will be very hot and humid across southeast North Carolina. Afternoon highs will range from the low to mid 90's areawide.  The heat index will likely exceed 100 in many locations during the afternoon.  Take it easy and drink lots of water if you are working or playing outside.  Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will cool some of us off in the afternoon.  Seek shelter if a storm moves your way.
