Man with ties to Elizabethtown wanted by NYPD

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) — The New York Police Department is searching for a man who has ties to Elizabethtown.

According to a press release from the NYPD, a male entered a Livery cab on Tuesday, May 24 at approximately 1:10 a.m. The suspect reportedly told the cab driver that he has a gun and demands his property. After receiving the property, the suspect flees the vehicle on foot into a housing development.  Police did not elaborate about the suspect's ties to Bladen County.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20's, approximately 6'0'' in height, with a mustache and goatee.
