Better weather for Sunday afternoon - WECT TV6-WECT.com:News, weather & sports Wilmington, NC

Better weather for Sunday afternoon

After a stormy Saturday for parts of southeast North Carolina we still could be stuck with at least some showers and a lot of cloud cover Sunday morning.  By Sunday afternoon drier air from the west moves in and we should have a nice window for outdoor activities with lots of sun and a very low rain chance.

For boaters it will be rather choppy offshore with a south breeze 10-15 knots.  However fishing conditions should be good as water temperatures have now broken over 70 degrees.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
