Boy Scouts take to the skies over Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Some of Wilmington's Boy Scouts had an adventurous Saturday morning.

169 scouts had a chance to fly, in groups of three, aboard different aircrafts, including small planes and helicopters.

The scouts taking the flying lessons at Wilmington's Airport to earn their aviation merit badges in the Young Eagles program.
