WILMINGTON (WECT)- A man in New Hanover County is recovering from injuries he received when his scooter was hit by a car.
The accident happened just after 11 Thursday night near the intersection of College Road and Oleander drive.
The driver of a white Honda Civic was making their way down college towards I-40, and the scooter was turning left on Oleander.
The Honda ran the red light, and that's when they collided.
The man driving the scooter was sent to the hospital with minor injuries, including a cut on his leg and a slight head injury, but he is expected to be ok.
