As we ended winter with back to back days in the 80s, this - the first day of spring, brings more seasonable like weather to the area.
There were not to many complaints from the 2400 runners at the Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Marathon. Temperatures remained at or below 60 degrees with winds from the northeast at 5-15 mph and a mix of clouds and sun.
We will lose the clouds throughout the day on Monday as temperatures move back into the 70s. Those 70s and pleasant weather should hang around through Thursday, when a cold front will move into the region.
