BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Students in Brunswick County Schools will now have a full week of school next week in order to make up for recent snow days.
Students were out of class Monday and Tuesday last week, along with a delayed start Wednesday morning, due to the winter storm that covered the Carolinas.
Superintendent Dr. Edward Pruden says students will now be in the classroom next Monday and Tuesday in an effort to get that lost instruction time back. This Saturday, January 22nd is a non-required work day for teachers and staff.
