WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)-Doctors at Cape Fear Pediatrics in Wilmington are seeing lots of viral illness but the cold symptoms include diarrhea and vomiting.

"So far not quite the flu which is the case all over the country. It looks like it's going to be a late flu season so there is still plenty of time to get your flu shot," said Dr. David Hill.

In Bladen County doctors are seeing strep throat. Symptoms include very sore throat, your child may have trouble swallowing. This can also include a fever.

Children are also coming in with RSV- a respiratory virus that causes wheezing in babies and young children.

And several children have had a stomach virus that causes an upset stomach and diarrhea.
