Beached Whale

It was an unusual sight at Surf City beach this morning that brought the crowds in. An eight-hundred-pound Pigmy Sperm Whale was found along the shore line. Crowds rushed down the beach to look at what the surf dragged in. Surf city officials brought in a tractor to pull the mammal to drier sand so UNCW Marine Biologists could dissect it before it's buried here on the city officials say it's normal for dead sea animals to wash up on shore, but biologists still want to try and figure out how it died.
