Rudolph now awaits his fate in Alabama jail cell

Olympic park bombing suspect Eric Rudolph is now locked up in a Birmingham, Alabama jail. He wore an orange jump suit and his feet and hands were shackled as he was led into the rear of the facility.

Rudolph will stand trial in Birmingham for a 1998 abortion clinic bombing that killed an off-duty police officer.

He was flown to Alabama after a hearing in Asheville, North Carolina, this morning in which he acknowledged his identity and accepted a transfer to Alabama. He did not enter a plea.

After he stands trial in Alabama, Rudolph will go to Georgia, where he is accused of three bombings, including the blast at the 1996 summer Olympics that killed a woman.
