Wife of victim thankful Rudolph is captured

Felecia Sanderson says police officers promised they would never stop looking for bombing suspect Eric Robert Rudolph. Robert Sanderson was killed in the 1998 women's clinic bombing in Birmingham, Alabama.

Felecia Sanderson told The News and Observer of Raleigh that she was numb over word that Rudolph was captured early Saturday morning, but that she was glad he was caught and no one was hurt.

Keeping up with the manhunt, Felecia Sanderson had made dozens of trips from her home in suburban Birmingham, to North Carolina since her husband was killed while working an off-duty security job at the clinic.

She visited the command post in Cherokee County, making coffee for federal agents, offering encouragement and even going on the search.

One of the original federal agents on the case says Sanderson was part of the team, and that she kept agents going a little longer.
