Seven people were sent to the hospital Friday evening following a collision. It happened in Wilmington at the intersection of Randall Parkway and South Kerr Avenue.
Police say the driver of a Ford Expedition crossed in front of a Nissan Maxima causing the accident. Traffic in the area was backed up for about one mile.
The seven people involved were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the Expedition was charged with failure to yield.
