Community leaders say their plans for a community grocery store and a park on Wilmington's northside are one step closer to a reality. Saturday morning nearly one-hundred people gathered at DC Virgo Middle School to discuss the future of that area. City staff and residents presented a plan that will be developed in the coming year. Representative Thomas Wright told News Six that he is ironing out the final details in a plan to bring a grocery store and an 1898 Memorial Park to the Northside. He says in the next week he plans on announcing the location for both.
