Officials say the United States Coast Guard is searching for two men reported missing off the North Carolina coast.
The Coast Guard says the men left Wanchese on April 16th for a two-week fishing trip on the ship Assassin, and they haven't been seen since April 24th near Morehead City.
Officials say the 30-foot blue fishing trawler was heading south.
The men, identified as Joey Shields and Eric Burgess, have had no contact with their families since leaving Wanchese. They are both 32 and both from North Carolina. Their hometowns weren't immediately available.
Coast Guard officials say their searches have not yielded any signs of the men or boat.
