Saturday, Wilmington bid it's final farewell to the cast and crew of the hit t.v. show Dawson's Creek. Hundreds gathered at the foot of Market Street to catch one last, in person, glimpse at the show's stars. Fans traveled from across the state to be a part of the farewell. On behalf of the city of Wilmington, Mayor Harper Peterson unveiled a street sign, Dawson's Creek Way, as a reminder of the series and all it has done for the city. The stars of the hit series didn't leave empty-handed either. They were presented with a key to the city. Although many people will be moving on to other projects, they say it's still hard to say goodbye.
