WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - All four candidates for the 7th District U.S. Congress seat in North Carolina have confirmed attendance Saturday for an event that does not involve either one of their political parties.

Groups associated more closely with the growing Tea Party movement are hosting a meet and greet session Saturday from 12 to 4.

Congressman Mike McIntyre (D) and all three Republican candidates, Will Breazeale, Ilario Pantano and Randy Crow have RSVPed to the event.  Candidates for other offices are also expected to attend.

The Cape Fear Tea Party Patriots, Wilmington Liberty Group, Alliance for a Better Local Economy, Americans For Prosperity, We the People of Brunswick County, and Campaign for Liberty are hosting the meet and greet at the New Hanover County Northeast Regional Public Library on Military Cutoff Road.

The meet and greet won't include structured speaking time, but the chance to meet with the candidates one on one in a more informal setting.
