"Jumping the shark" is that defining moment when a TV series has reached its climax and its all down hill from there, according to this site. jumptheshark.com tracks over 1800 current and former TV shows where visitors can speak out about when a show started going downhill--or if it did at all.
The site also has different categories that are common themes among all shows that no longer air or that may be on their last legs--things like classic shows going from black & white to color, new characters, or same character with a new actor. There's also a chance to stump the shark, where you can e-mail the webmasters about trivial details from old shows.
