Authorities join efforts to arrest 4 people accused of drug activities

BURGAW, NC (WECT) - Burgaw Police officers teamed up with the Pender County Sheriff's deputies to arrest four people on drug related charges.

According to the Burgaw Police Department, they had conducted an investigation of a home on West Fremont Street in Burgaw, after receiving several complaints from citizens of illegal drug activity.

Neime Allen, Sharod Respus, Tamica Knight, and Cerece McCallister are facing several charges including: 

  • Trafficking Opium
  • Felony Possession of Cocaine
  • Manufacture Cocaine
  • Possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine 
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Hydrocodone
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Tamica Knight and Cerece McCallister were additionally charged with maintaining the dwelling, because they are the two legal residents of the home.

All four people are being held in the Pender County Jail under a $500,000 bond each.
