WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Engineers are trying to determine if a building in downtown Wilmington is secure enough for people to go inside.

Businesses inside 22-24 North Front Street had to close Wednesday after a water leak caused the building to shift.

Daughtry's Old Books and Doublewide Skate and Surf were closed again Thursday.  Crews have been working on the site, and neighbors say they will be glad when things get back to normal.
