BRUSNWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A mother and son are facing drug charges in Brunswick County, after drug agents say they busted a huge prescription pill ring.
Louise Maloney is charged with manufacturing opium, among other crimes.
Agents say they found over 150 prescription pills, from Valium to Hydrocodone, in her home in Bolivia. Authorities also found .25 lbs. of marijuana.
Maloney's son, Franco Maloney, is charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
