Income-tax forms no longer offered at public libraries

NORTH CAROLINA (WECT) - The NC Department of Revenue has told public libraries and post offices they will no longer carry income-tax forms in an effort to save money.

Tax filers can still call the revenue department, 877-252-3052, to get the forms and booklets delivered by mail.

The forms will also be available at departmental service centers across the state.

New Hanover County libraries stopped handing out tax forms several years ago.
