LUMBERTON, NC (WECT) - Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton is returning to a regular visitor policy since officials say they are seeing fewer flu cases.
They do ask, however, that any individual who is sick to not visit patients at Southeastern until they are free of symptoms.
Both New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Brunswick Community hospitals are still operating under restricted visitation.
Officials at those locations say they will continue with the stricter visitor's policy in case a third wave of H1N1 hits the region.
Both hospitals are keeping children under 18 away during visiting hours under this restricted policy.
