WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington's first baby of the New Year is a healthy baby boy.
Elijah Jamal McMillan arrived at 1:34 Friday morning. He was 2010's first arrival at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He's seven pounds, nine ounces and mom, Cassandra, says he's doing just great.
She told us Friday night that once the clock struck midnight, she knew it was time for Elijah's arrival.
As of 10 p.m. on Friday.. eight babies have been born this New Year's Day at New Hanover Regional.
