3 young men arrested after foot chase in Pender County

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Three young men were arrested in connection to a breaking and entering at Clarks Sausage in Pender County.

The Pender County Sheriff's Office said a breaking and entering was reported by a citizen who saw the males trying to break into the business.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they became involved in a foot chase and were assisted by State Troopers.

Tyler Collins was arrested at the business, and a short time later Jordan Carroll and Carl Witherspoon were arrested after trying to steal a truck from a local farmer near the business.
