NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A man from New Hanover County is facing ten counts of second degree sex exploitation of a child.

A cyber crimes task force with the FBI arrested Paul Dallas Tuesday evening.

Agents asked Dallas to come home from work while they searched his home.  Officials removed a computer and what looked like a rifle before putting him in handcuffs.

Neighbors said they were surprised the crime happened in their community, but aren't surprised Dallas is accused.  They say he was the type of man who kept to himself.

Dallas is facing charges for downloading and sharing child pornography, but was not making any of the material himself.
