HAMPSTEAD, NC (WECT) - Authorities believe some bones found near Hampstead last week could belong to a marine who disappeared five years ago.

Hunters came across the remains in a wooded area near Amanda Lane in Pender County.

Authorities say they could be that of Cpl. Stanley Bosley who was station at Camp Lejeune when he went missing.

Bosley's car was found on Amanda Lane four years ago, but there were no signs of foul play suspected.
