WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Local artists used their talent to help feed the hungry.

Artists with the Coastal Carolina Clay Guild held a fundraiser at the Community Arts Center in downtown Wilmington to benefit the Empty Bowls Foundation.

The artists created several pieces of pottery, which were available for the public to purchase.

People could also buy raffle tickets for the chance to win one of those creations.

Guild member Leslie Willett says, "well, it helps the homeless, which is why we are doing it, and we do it for us, too. It's a chance for us to show our work."

If you would like a piece of art, you can stop by the Community Arts Center on Sunday starting at 10am.
