Murder suspect turns himself into police

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Police in Wilmington say a murder suspect turned himself in Monday night. He is in custody at the New Hanover County correctional facility.

Dameion Herman Fagan, of Wilmington, has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Delvin Antoine McIntyre on October 28, 2009.

McIntyre's body was found in some woods near the Creekwood community on October 28th.

Fagan made his first court appearance on Tuesday afternoon. He currently is being held without bond.

Another previously named suspect, Sherrod M. Crum, was recently interviewed by the Wilmington Police Department detectives. He is not being charged at this time.
