NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place Wednesday morning.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies received a report of a robbery at the Burger King on 2707 Trademark Drive just after 7:00.

Employees told officials two men went into the business showing handguns and demanded money.  The employees were ordered into the cooler as the men took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbers were wearing ski masks so a description is limited.  The men are about 5'8"-5'10" tall and were last seen walking towards Trademark and Enterprise Drive.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detectives at (910) 798-4260.
