NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Area residents who missed the State Fair will still get a chance to take part in the thrill of the rides during the annual Cape Fear Fair and Expo.
Fair workers spent Wednesday preparing rides like the carousel, music express, and the ferris wheel. Food vendors also began setting up to sell traditional fair foods like funnel cake, cotton candy, and candy apples.
There will be several animal showcases featuring tigers, kangaroos, and other livestock exhibits.
The fair is next to the Wilmington International Airport and runs from October 29 through November 7.
Mon - Thur: 5pm-11pm
Advanced Tickets - $13
Monday thru Thursday - $15
Friday thru Sunday - $16
Children 2 and Under Free Admission (must pay to ride)
The admission price gives you access to unlimited rides. Parking to the event is free.
