CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Homicide detectives from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and the Fayetteville Police Department are teaming up to investigated a shooting incident in Spring Lake.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Christopher Mitchell Bridges died in a shooting Monday night on Alden Street in Spring Lake. Bridges was assigned to an Army support unit at Fort Bragg.
Three other men were also wounded during the incident and were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment to gunshot wounds.
Two men are in serious condition and two others are reportedly in stable condition.
The circumstances of the shooting are still being investigated, and anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, (910) 323-1500 or call the Fayetteville Police Department.
