COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Columbus County planning board members are looking for ways to clean up some rundown mobile home parks.
County leaders are working on a proposal to regulate tracks of land with three or more mobile homes and require street construction, lighting, and set rules for lot sizes and buffers.
The commissioners are still finalizing the details of the planning board's proposal.
Other counties, like Brunswick, have similar rules in place.
