WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)- Funeral arraignments have been made for a woman who died last week in a house fire on Princess Place Drive.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but found 47-year-old Jacqueline Denise Nesbitt inside the home.
According to authorities, rescue crews tried to revive Nesbitt, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Investigators were not able to find a smoke detector in Nesbitt's home, and say the fire was accidental.
Nesbitt's funeral will take place Saturday morning at 10:00, at Saint Mary Catholic Church. A viewing will be held Friday at David's Funeral Home.
A memorial fund has been set up at FSNB under Zephra Nesbitt, Jacqueline's daughter. Be sure to write 'In Memory of Jaqueline Nesbitt' in the memo line.
