WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Three bouncers from a downtown Wilmington bar are expected to be indicted on charges stemming from a bar fight in August.
Wilmington Police say the bouncers at Sidebar on Front Street were escorting 20-year-old Joseph Dauvray outside the establishment for fighting inside the bar.
Witnesses say when Dauvray struggled to stay inside Sidebar, bouncers James Butler, Steven Fox and Cedric Simpson punched and kicked him multiple times.
34-year-old James Butler, 28-year-old Steven Fox Jr., and 41-year-old Cedric Simpson are expected to be indicted on various charges, including assault inflicting serious injury.
According to the police report, Dauvray sustained serious facial injuries, including a broken nose and severe lacerations.
