Authorities search for man accused of robbing BB&T

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington police detectives are searching for a man accused of robbing the BB&T Bank in Ogden Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, witnesses say the man walked up to a teller and demanded money.  After she gave him cash, he walked out of the bank.

The robber is described as a 40-year-old man with a moustache, wearing a light-colored hat, long-sleeved blue denim shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, jeans, and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 910-343-3600 and leave a message for Detective Odham.
