WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Two Wilmington women were sentenced in federal court on drug related charges.
22-year-olds Kathryn Williams will face up to 60 months in prison for conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute ecstasy and marijuana.
22-year-old Ashley Ricks will face up to 72 months in prison for the same sentence in addition to possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking offense.
Both women received five years of supervised release at the end of their sentences.
The women were arrested in December 2008 by the Wilmington Police Department and the SBI during a drug raid at a home on Lennon Drive.
Authorities found 2,000 ecstasy pills, $27,000, 11 handguns, and 7 kilograms of marijuana.
