COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Earlier this month a 17-year-old Tabor City teen was arrested after he took police on a high speed chase.
Allen Strickland went the police station saying his Corvette had been stolen, so investigators went P&C Wrecker to search the car for evidence.
After posting bond, Strickland was unable to provide a valid driver's license to the wrecker service to get his car back.
Now workers at the company say they have since purchased the vehicle from Strickland at an undisclosed amount.
The teenager is facing several charges including fraudulently setting fire to his own home and is currently on house arrest.
