WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - President Obama will be on prime time television Wednesday night to sell the specifics of his health care reform plan.

He'll appear in front of Congress, but experts say he'll be talking more to the American people.

In preparation for the President's address, WECT visited two different medical clinics which are only miles apart, but in some ways worlds away.

Virtually all the patients at New Hanover Community Health Clinic do not have insurance, while patients across town at Pelican Family Medicine do.

One patient at the former clinic said she thinks Americans should take whatever they can to help people in need of insurance.  On the other hand, a patient from the latter is worried about losing coverage they already have.

President Obama says major reform is needed now, and could be considering government insurance.

Lynn Harris said she doesn't understand the public fear.  When there are many working people that cannot afford insurance, Harris thinks this plan will help get them covered.

Dr. Sam Armitage is skeptical of the plan, and said many of his parents are worried they may not be covered under the universal plan.

Watch the President's speech Wednesday night on WECT at 8:00.
