NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - A bomb threat emptied out New Hanover County's Courthouse for two hours Monday morning.
The building was evacuated within minutes after a hoax call came in at 11:52 AM. The call was traced to a pay phone on 902 Rankin Street.
Officials are searching for the man who is accused of making the call.
According to New Hanover County Sheriff's Deputy Charles Smith, the man was last seen wearing a reddish-orange shirt, khaki pants, and a white ball cap. He is believed to have sandy blonde hair.
